2 teens charged in bomb threat against N.J. middle school

A 13-year-old and a 14-year-old were charged Friday with posting a bomb threat against Mount Olive Middle School on social media.
The threat was made on Oct. 25 and quickly determined to be a hoax, Mount Olive police said in a statement.
A boy and a girl were each charged with cyber harassment. Police didn’t say if they are students at the school in the Budd Lake section of town.
“The Mount Olive Police Department, in partnership with the Mount Olive School District, maintains zero tolerance for acts that threaten our schools,” police Chief Michael Spitzer said in a statement. “We will vigorously investigate all such incidents and pursue appropriate legal action against those responsible.”
