    This high quality well constructed wooden case was produced by Oneida - 1881 Rogers to hold Sterling or Silverplate flatware, designed for a service of 12+ plus extras & serving pieces.   The case exterior has a great vintage look with many scratches, indents, scrapes, varnish crazing & paint loss - (most likely from past "closet" storage) - please see all photos.    The
    BEST
    aspect of this vintage case is it's wonderful interior showing normal past use with no rips or odors.     The case has

    slots in the lid for dinner knives and the inside has
    9
    slots with a gap at each end for additional knives
    .   This great vintage case would make a
    wonderful safe home
