    This high quality "Dovetailed" wooden case was produced by the famous Naken Co. to hold Sterling or Silverplate flatware, designed for a service of 12 plus serving pieces.    The case exterior has a great vintage look with indents, scrapes,  surface scratches and varnish crazing (all most likely from past "closet" or "buffet drawer" storage) - please see all photos.   The
    BEST
    aspect of this vintage case is it's heavy duty constructed interior with no rips or odors (there is a lot of color variations and some staining - please see close up photo) - the lower asking price reflects this.     This case has
    12
    slots in the lid for dinner knives and the inside has
    10
    slots.
