Vintage CHICAGO MAP POSTER STREET FINDER 1965 14.25 x 21.25 Phillips 66 Gas Oil

Description

This is a vintage, original poster-size map of Chicago Streets from 1965 in unused, near-mint condition. The card-stock map has strong graphics with bright colors including a purple border, and it features a street-finder on the reverse side. The map side has a flat matte finish and the reverse has a slight plastic-coated finish. The poster was made by the Nu-Visor Guide Advertising, Inc. of Chicago for Matt's Phiilips 66 Service Station, and was intended for drivers to fold and slip above the visor in their cars for convenient usage. This guide was never used and is new original stock (NOS) and the folds have not been creased. There is a slight discoloration along the one edge, a result of storage.
The map measures about 14 1/4 inches wide by about 21 1/4 inches tall. It will be carefully rolled up for shipping. It would be quite suitable for framing and hanging on a wall.
