TOWLE Sterling Silver Sugar TONG - VIRGINIA CARVEL - MONO

Description

Up for sale is a sterling silver sugar tong made by Towle Silversmiths.  This piece is in the “Virginia Carvel” pattern which has a simple clean design.  It measures approximately 3 7/8” long and weighs about 20 grams.  Both legs are marked 925/100, Sterling, the Towle lion in a “T” and Pat. 1919.
This piece is in great condition and it has been hand polished for your immediate use.
There are no dents, bends or evidence of heavy wear.
The surfaces are clean with use and age marks.
There is a monogram “F” on one side.
