    Description

    For sale is a matched pair of gravy ladles in the scarce UNION pattern by John R. Wendt.  The ladles are 7 3/4 inches long and together weigh 118 grams.  The pieces are monogrammed "H.A.B." on the handle fronts and “Durand” on the backs, as shown.  They are marked "(3)25" and "BALL, BLACK & CO.".
    Condition on the ladles is fairly good.  Both have a few shallow bowl dents, as well as normal wear from use.  A rare pair of Victorian ladles!
