My thanks to you even if you are "Just Looking".  You are staying home, I am staying home and raiding my inventory from the last 20 years stored in my condo to list on EBAY so I can make it through this trying time.  My wishes to you for the same.

Made in 1897 for the Jubilee celebration of Queen Victoria, may I offer this Sterling Silver (hallmarked STERLING [with a makers mark]) and blue & white enamel souvenir demitasse spoon featuring a beaver at the top of the tree-like handle and an embossed image of Victoria Regina herself.  The painted dates are 1837-1897 - the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.  The spoon is engraved on the back of the handle with Norma, Oct 10,'98.  Judging by the look of the piece, I would say the spoon was manufactured in Canada for sale during the celebration year of 1898.  Perfect condition with no damage I can spot.  There is a little discoloration near the edges of the enamel but this could just be residue from a silver polish.  A very rare piece of silver to find!
