Rare Ornate Antique Victorian c.1846 "Jones, Ball & Poor" - Boston Ma, 900 Coin Silver Large 12.0" Buffet Style Serving Knife & Fork Set
c. 1846
Offered today is this very Large Rare Original "Jones, Ball & Poor" of Boston Pat. 1846 Serving Knife measuring 12.0 and Fork measuring 9.5 inches long. They are Highly hand Etched on the Blades and have No Monograms but rather a Very Detailed Tree with what appears to be Weights hanging on either side like a Gold Scale.
The pair weighs 7.30 ounces together!
Note the Beautiful Elegant Victorian Hand Etched Floral Designs on the Front cup of the fork and Knife Blade.
These Early Victorian Serving pieces are in Very Good as found condition and have slight edge ware, couple tiny dings and the top handle has a Minor dent. It does Not have a Monogram but a Beautiful "Tree Design" on each Piece. A bit tarnished with very light expected surface scratches from use and some Sticker Residue from a Former Estate Auction House - Else Very Nice!
