    Description

    This is a lot of 2 (not a pair) of sterling silver collector spoons made from teaspoons by engraving each with "Red Oak, Ia" (Iowa).
    Both spoons are from the Watson Company of Attleboro, MA (USA).  The first spoon (engraved handle) is a Five O'Clock Teaspoon in the John Adams pattern (1911).  It measures
    5 1/2 inches long and 1 inch across, and it weighs 15.4 grams.  The second spoon (engraved bowl)
    is a Youth Spoon in the John Alden pattern (1911).
    It measures 5 inches long and 1 inch across, and it weighs 16.4 grams.
    The spoons are in EXCELLENT used condition, and they have been given a good shine with a polishing cloth.
    Nothing is known of the history of these spoons.
