GORHAM 5 O'clock spoon NARRAGANSETT style STERLING SILVER FISH SHELL Mono

Description

Antique Gorham Narragansett style 1885 No. 6 pattern sterling silver .925, shell bowl, 5 o'clock spoon, & IS monogrammed. This exquisitely detailed Aesthetic aquatic figural design features a fluted shell bowl, & fish handle, with detailed decor on both sides. These spoons are often described as Narragansett, but it is not of that pattern, but made at the same time period & are hard to come by. The spoon measures approximately 5 1/8 inches long, & weighs .490 ozt. The back of the spoon is marked with a number 6 Gorham lion anchor G mark & sterling.
The spoon is in good antique estate condition as follows;
NO REPAIRS. THERE IS SOME SCRATCHING, WORN WASH, & WEAR IS CONSISTENT WITH THE AGE OF THE PIECE & NORMAL USAGE. THERE IS GLARE & REFLECTION IN SOME OF THE 12 PHOTOS.
