    Description

    For your consideration is a 44 piece, Louis XV sterling flatware set by BIRKS of Canada. This group consists of 8 ~ 5 piece place settings. The place setting includes a dinner knife 8 3/4", regular fork 6 3/4", salad/dessert fork 6 1/8", teaspoon 5 3/4 and coffee spoon 5 1/4". This set includes 4 extra coffee spoons. This set is being sold as used condition with some tarnish. One teaspoon bowl has slight edge nicks. Light visible marks from use. Dates to the early 1960's. Each piece is marked Birks sterling. The flatware comes in the original turquoise blue flannel silver keepers with tie strings; marked Birks. Included is the original Birks silver pamphlet describing the various flatware patterns. Total weight is 1310 grams. Knives were counted as 20 grams each as only the hollow handle is sterling.
