Presented is a fabulous Reed & Barton sterling silver serving fork. This piece is made in the elegant Les Six Fleurs pattern, which began production in 1901. This particular fork is stamped with the patent applied for mark, indicating it was made in the first year of the pattern's production. As the name suggests, this is a lovely floral pattern, featuring designs of various flowers on the handle, done in a detailed Art Nouveau style. The fork is a good large size, and can be used for a wide variety of serving purposes, however you like.
This piece is in great condition. The details of the pattern are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The fork is stamped with the Reed & Barton maker's mark as well as sterling and 'patent applied for.'
