Description
Presented is a lovely, sterling silver small serving, sugar or chocolate spoon made by Whiting during the late 1800s or very early 1900s. This piece is in the Heraldic pattern, which was patented in 1880. The handle is very decorative and the top has a knight’s head. The ruffled bowl has a nice gold wash.The back is marked for Whiting and sterling.
This piece is in excellent overall condition and the designs are crisp. There has been a monogram removal to the front of the handle, but this is only noticeable upon close inspection.
