    Description

    Presented is a handsome sterling silver chipped beef fork by Whiting Manufacturing Company. The serving fork is done in the desirable old Louis XV pattern which was first produced in 1891. It is monogrammed CMV on the end of the handle.
    The chipped beef fork is hallmarked on the reverse with the maker’s mark for Whiting Manufacturing Company, Sterling, Pat. 1891, and J. Wineburgh for the retailer.
    The condition is excellent. There are no dents, no dings, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
    The fork is 6 3/4 inches long.
    The fork weighs 31.6 grams or 1.1 ounces.
