Antique c1870 Sterling Silver John Polhemus Tiffany Punch/Soup Ladle 10 3/4"

Description

Presented is an antique, mid 19th century, solid sterling silver punch or soup ladle made by John Polhemus and retailed by Tiffany & Company. This pattern was patented in 1867 and the ladle itself was made around the patent date. The decorative handle has an old, original monogram of the letter A on the front.
The back is marked JP Patent 1867, Tiffany & Co and sterling.
The ladle is in excellent overall condition for its age and the designs are crisp. There is some wear to the bowl and a tiny ding, but no major damages.
