Description

Sterling silver bonbon server with piercing in the gold washed lobed bowl, in the Alvin "Monterey" pattern, patented in 1895. The piece weighs 1.04 troy ounces and measures 5 3/4 inches long and 2 1/2 inches across the bowl. Marked on the back of the handle with Alvin's trademark and "Sterling". There are numerous tiny nicks and very fine scratches overall, and some loss to the original gilding of the bowl, otherwise in good antique condition.
