    Up for sale is a Pickle (or Olive) fork in the
    Maryland
    pattern (1910) made by Alvin Silver.  It is
    2-tined, in the “old style.”  5 ¾” long – no monogram.
    I found this piece among miscellaneous silver items from the family silver chest and may date to wedding gifts for my grandparents in 1913.  No monograms – the reverse carries the Alvin Sterling hallmark.
    The fork is in excellent estate condition and comes polished and ready to use or gift.
