7 Vintage c1910 Sterling Silver S Kirk & Son Co Mayflower Demitasse Spoons
Presented is a fine set of 7 sterling silver demitasse spoons made by S. Kirk & Son Co between 1900 and 1915. This set is in the Mayflower pattern, which was patented in 1846. The front of each spoon is engraved with lovely flourishes surrounding a cartouche. 6 of the spoons are engraved on the front with the initials LJS and are engraved on the back with the initials ERE. One spoon is engraved on the front with a monogram of the initials EBE.
The back of each spoon is marked S. Kirk & Son Co and sterling or 925/1000 for sterling silver purity.
This set is in great condition and the designs are crisp. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monogram removals and no repairs.
Each spoon measures 4 1/8 inches long.
The combined weight of the set is 106 grams or 3.7 ounces.
