Here we have (2) English Sterling Silver serving spoons produced in London. The set includes; (1) 8 5/8" serving spoon with all appropriate hallmarks for London 1819-1820 and a makers mark for Thomas & George Hayter(
rubbed
) with a canine armorial and (1) 7 3/4" serving spoon with Tines(
added at a later date
) marked with all appropriate hallmarks for London c. 1755-1756 and a rubbed makers mark with a Lion armorial and monogram.
The spoons are in good
condition
with age
appropriate
wear,
surface
scratches
and the pair looks great
. The 2 pieces weigh 116 grams or 3.72 ozt.
Most of the pieces I currently have listed are from a handful of prominent Baltimore and or Maryland estates
