    Description

1938 Johannes Siggaard & Hugo Grün of Copenhagen
DANISH Sterling Silver and Stainless Steel
    Cake Pie Pastry Serving Utensil
Pyramid-Styled Shape Design On End Of Handle
This Art Deco, Danish Modern designed serving utensil, has a
Assay Master Mark from the well-known Danish silversmith,
Johannes Siggaard. This Danish Assay Master Mark is the capital
letter "S" with the letter "J" inside of it.
There is also an Assay Mark of H.Gr. which stands for Hugo Grün (1918-1937)
    of Copenhagen, Denmark.
The Danish Assay Mark is that of Three Towers with the year "1938" written
below the towers. This was a form of certification of the silver's purity that
    Denmark established starting in 1608.
The fourth stamp into the stainless steel handle is stamped "Rustfri"
which is Danish for stainless steel.
The pyramid design on the end of the handle is slanted at the top. Please refer to pictures.
